We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer with proven experience in the Oil & Gas sector to take a leading role within our Process Engineering team. The selected candidate will act as a technical reference point, overseeing process design activities across FEED, Basic, and Detail Engineering phases, ensuring high‑quality deliverables, and coordinating internal resources. This role requires strong technical expertise, the ability to guide junior and mid‑level engineers, and the confidence to interface independently with clients, partners, and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Requirements:
Candidates must have proven experience in the Oil & Gas sector in Algeria, be currently residing in Algeria, and have previously led and managed an engineering team. Applications that do not meet these mandatory requirements will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise process engineering departement activities for onshore Oil & Gas facilities (offshore experience considered a plus);
- perform , develop and lead a team for key process deliverables, including:
- process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)
- piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
- heat & Material Balances (H&MB)
- perform and supervise equipment sizing and selection, including:
- separators, vessels, heat exchangers, pumps, compressors
- prepare, check, and approve process datasheets, technical specifications, and supporting documentation:
- Line lists
- Equipment lists
- Utility consumption summaries, process descriptions, operating manuals.
- Lead and support:
- HAZID and HAZOP and SIL sessions
- Process safety evaluations and risk assessments.
- Coordinate with piping, electrical, instrumentation, safety, and other engineering disciplines to ensure alignment and technical consistency.
- Provide advanced technical support during clarification meetings with clients, licensors, and suppliers.
- Support construction, pre‑commissioning, and commissioning activities when required.
- Mentor and guide junior and mid‑level engineers, ensuring knowledge transfer, quality control, and adherence to best practices.
- Contribute to internal process standards, continuous improvement initiatives, and optimization of engineering workflows.
Technical Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or equivalent technical background.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in process design within the Oil & Gas or industrial plant engineering sector.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Process engineering principles and Best practice
- Oil, gas, water treatment, and utility systems
- International standards (API, ASME, ISO)
- Ability to develop, interpret, and validate PFDs and P&IDs.
- Experience with process simulation tools (preferred):
- Aspen HYSYS / Aspen Plus
- Excellent command of technical English.
- Italian language skills considered a plus.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in international Conceptual , FEED and EPC projects;
- background in brownfield, revamping, and upstream projects;
- direct participation in HAZOP studies (as chairman, scribe, or discipline lead).
