To strengthen our engineering team in DG Algérie, we are looking for a Civil & Structural Technician / Designer to support onshore and offshore Oil & Gas projects. The role involves civil and structural design activities for complex industrial facilities, covering all project phases - from conceptual and basic engineering to detailed design and construction support. The selected candidate will work within a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment, collaborating closely with process, piping, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute civil and structural design for Oil & Gas facilities onshore (offshore experience skills considered a plus).
- Develop technical deliverables, including:
- Civil layouts and general arrangements
- Foundations for static and rotating equipment
- Reinforced concrete and steel structures
- Steelworks, pipe racks, skids, platforms, and modular structures
- Perform structural design verification in accordance with project specifications and applicable international codes.
- Prepare construction drawings, structural details, and IFC documentation.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and manage interfaces with piping and plant systems.
- Provide technical support during construction and manage design revisions.
Support structural calculation activities, independently or in collaboration with structural engineers.
Technical Requirements
- Technical diploma (Civil Technician / Surveyor) or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, industrial plants, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Solid background in civil and structural drafting and design.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software, preferably:
- AutoCAD
- AVEVA E3D / PDMS / SmartPlant (Civil & Structural modules)
- Revit Structure or equivalent (considered a plus)
- Knowledge of relevant international codes and standards, including:
- EN / Eurocodes
- ACI, AISC
- Seismic regulations (NTC / Eurocode 8)
Ability to interpret project specifications, datasheets, and engineering standards.

- Familiarity with Design Review and 3D Model Review processes (e.g., Navisworks, AVEVA Review).
