SARL DG Algérie is looking for a Junior Accountant to join its Finance & Control Department

Reporting directly to the Country Manager Algeria and the Group CFO, the selected candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounting, tax, and administrative activities, ensuring compliance with Algerian regulations, internal company procedures, and Group reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the recording and control of accounting transactions related to general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, fixed assets, and taxation;
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and traceability of accounting records in compliance with internal procedures;
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closings in accordance with Group deadlines and standards;
• Monitor supplier and customer accounts, ensuring proper management of payments and collections;
• Prepare and monitor tax and parafiscal declarations in compliance with Algerian regulations (VAT, IBS, TAP, IRG, CNAS, and other applicable obligations);
• Ensure compliance of accounting operations with the Algerian Financial Accounting System (SCF - Système Comptable Financier) and with applicable tax and corporate legislation;
• Perform bank reconciliations, accounting analyses, and periodic account balance checks;
• Support the preparation of statutory financial statements and Group financial reporting;
• Manage relationships with tax authorities, social security institutions, banks, external auditors, and local consultants;
• Participate in internal and external audits, implementing any required corrective actions;
• Ensure compliance with internal control procedures, corporate governance standards, and compliance requirements;
• Collaborate with various company departments to ensure the proper administrative and financial management of company activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field;
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in a similar role;
• Good knowledge of the Algerian Financial Accounting System (SCF) and local tax, corporate, and social security regulations;
• Experience in managing tax compliance and mandatory statutory filings required by Algerian legislation;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills;
• High level of accuracy, reliability, and commitment to meeting deadlines;
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team;
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
• Excellent command of French and English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in multinational companies or international environments;
• Knowledge of administrative and authorization procedures applicable to Algerian legal entities;
• Experience in dealing with public administrations, tax authorities, and local regulatory bodies;
• Previous experience in the Oil & Gas, Energy, or Industrial Services sectors.
