DG IMPIANTI INDUSTRIALI S.P.A. Engineering Manager Send

SARL DG Algérie is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and develop its multidisciplinary engineering team supporting Oil & Gas, Energy and Industrial projects.

Reporting to the Country Manager and working closely with the Group Engineering Management in Italy, you will oversee engineering resources, ensure the quality of project deliverables, coordinate international teams, and contribute to the growth of the local engineering organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams (Process, Piping, Mechanical, Civil & Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation, HSE, DCC).
• Plan and manage engineering resources, workload, and team performance.
• Coordinate activities between the Algerian office and the Group's international engineering centers.
• Ensure technical quality, compliance with standards, and on-time project delivery.
• Support technical proposals, staffing plans, and project execution strategies.
• Drive recruitment, mentoring, and development of engineering personnel.
• Monitor KPIs and promote continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, or Industrial Engineering.
• At least 5 years in engineering management or multidisciplinary coordination roles.
• Strong knowledge of EPC/EPIC projects and international engineering standards (API, ASME, IEC, ISO).
• Experience in resource planning and multidisciplinary team leadership.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English and French.

Preferred

• Experience in Algeria, North Africa, or international engineering organizations.
• Knowledge of Sonatrach standards and Algerian Oil & Gas regulations.
• Experience managing distributed engineering teams.

Compensation:

250000 - 350000 DZD/month Net
